Fuel leak/coolant leak ugh!
So I started to get the famous cold start fuel leak and my coolant resivor was leaking as well, I decided it was time to clean up all the mud and paint a few things while doing this job.

as you can see where it was leaking, it was leakings very slowly and no over heating, I just wanted to fix that so I didnt have to worry about it during long trips and what not.

Intake manifold off and fuel line fixed with new fuel injection hose and clamps to go with

I wanted to do something different and something I havent seen done before. So you can see where its all masked off ready for paint. I did have to sacrifice a DC sticker but it was the perfect size and didnt need to freehand the logo.

final product, turned out pretty good IMO. Paint used was VHT flat aluminum and VHT flat black.

The only beer worthy to be in my garage while working on my car

random pic for us pic ******

Engine bay detailed and majority of the dirt/mud/oil removed and shined up!

Painting was easy after just cleaning them up and prepping them for paint. Intake manifold turned out great and now it looks brand new. Coolant leak is fixed, after a hour of the car idling no over heating/leaks check engine light. Now something else will blow up and cost me more money. Any questions or comments are welcome!

Excuse my noobness, but i have never heard of this? Is this strictly a wrx thing or does it transfer to n/a's as well, and where exactly does this fuel leak occur?

Its mainly for the turbo charged engines. It leaks at the fuel rail going from the left bank to the right bank, due to the metal of the pipes being to dense I belive and not long enough. Recalls have been sent to anyone that it purtains to. But once you replace the fuel pipe and with the supplied new hose its all good. When I did it the first time I had some ****ty fuel clamps and hose on one fuel line where I had replaced it but didnt really need to replace but I did anyways. Needless to say my fuel leak was due to parts failure.
