everytime on light throttle.. high pitch whistling noise starts.. not even boosting
actually the sounds is higher on cruising on vacuum pressure. i have no boost problem what so ever.. runs normal.. the sounds actually starts out with a little fluttering noise then like a diesel turbo noise.. anyone can help me diagnose this? i dont know where to start.. i hope my turbo is not blown

 

If you say it sounds like a fluttering sound, it might just be compressor surge from your turbo.

kinda but its not that bad.. sound kinda faint.. when i cruise on the freeway. i can hear the whistling noise with a slight touch on the gas peddle..

 

What's the cars set up atm.

 

up-pipe and belmouth downpipe and 3" exhaust. silicon turbo inlet and elbow stock airbox with k@n panel filter snorkel removed. turbo xs mbc...

 

check your silicone inlet?

 

the sound that my car makes while crusing is very noticable... when driving by walls and curb... all u hear is shrrhhhhhh... and off the peddle. then gas alittle and shrrrssssshhhh....... and this is just driving around town lightly..

 

it might be it.. afterall the brand is "gimmick" turbo inlet...

I also have a slight whistle while in vacuum pressure, I think it is normal turbo noise that you get when you have an aftermarket downpipe. I could be wrong though.

 

anyone can confirm this ? and god no grinding noise pleaase. my bug eye been grinding on 1st gear for its entire life
