Need help, exhaust/boost leak
Need help, exhaust/boost leak
I have changed all my old exhaust gaskets to brand new OEM ones because I was having a minor boost leak and now its even worse now. The car rattles like crap and I can't figure out why or where the exhaust leak is coming from. If anyone has a garage that can help me out Id appreciate it. It's raining tomorrow and I don't have a garage. This have been such a headache...

What do you mean by rattling? Like tapping a pipe rattling? I had and still have that problem. Check your downpipe or header area to see if there is close contact anything in that general area. If you hear rattling, it could also be that.

Yup, was going to ask that too. I had an exhaust rattle after going to 3". Kartboy poly hangars fixed that. So when you say "rattling" do you mean vibration or something is actually making noise?
Ever since I switched from helix catted to catless one, this thing feels like something is hitting the.cross member or something and you can feel it under your feet every time you let off the throttle. Its only holding 11psi when target is usually 18psi, so I'm guessing its before the turbo

Sounds like your downpipe is hitting the cross-member but if your boost is that much lower you also have other issues. Either a big boost leak or huge pre-turbo exhaust leak.
