turbo decision
hey guys. im lookin for a new turbo to buy real soon. But i have a couple concerns. Im plannng on gettin rid of the ap and gettin a turboxs or ecutek. I want to also keep the sti pink injectors but i need a turbo that would suit them well. I was thinkin bout the 18g w/ external wastegate. If oyu have any other turbos in mind that are nice and reliable with an external wastegate let me kno. I dont want any ihi turbos

Here's a car that used a 'mild' VF30 turbo and was custom dyno-tuned. Look at the trap speed for an indication of the power that even this mild turbo upgrade is capable of.
If it is a track-only car (drags or road course) you can go with a much bigger turbo when you don't have to be concerned with laggy response in daily driving.
