Well not totaly dead but liver more subaru has pulled it out to send it to subaru for inspection. Am I the first one with STi Trany problems and can any one tell me the cost to rebuild? I will update when they tell me whats wrong.

ya i was driving and i got to my friends house and i whent to back up and it started vibrating like crazy then when i got it going it made this thumping sound every time my wheel whent around even in nuetral it made the noise.

 

I'll remove, rebuild and reinstall it for $1500.00 plus parts !

If i have to pay for it I will give you a call because I sure as hell wont be giving subaru any more money if i do

 

Did you get your trans fixed yet? Hope they took care of it under warranty.

 

livermore subarus is terrible, i brought it there twice, for the tranny, and they didnt fix it either time, you should have brought it to ron price subaru in so sanfran, i feel sorry for you, good luck

 

btw dont pay them, threaten to sew if they threaten you of harsh driving, then they wont give you any problems, that what i had to do.
