I am sell my gc8 motor and trany. Came out of a 1998 impreza rs 2.5. Has about 120xxx miles on it. $500. pm if interested.

Hey. A few questions... 98 is the DOHC version, right? Do you have the ECU by chance? Also, do you know what gearing the final drive is for that transmission? The reason I ask is that it would be going in a 95 wagon, I'd like to knwo if I'll need a new diff or not.. . I PMed you my contact info. Thanks

No it will need to be changed.

so since the gasket was blown, do you know if it warped the heads?
