STi Trany is Dead

Well not totaly dead but liver more subaru has pulled it out to send it to subaru for inspection. Am I the first one with STi Trany problems and can any one tell me the cost to rebuild? I will update when they tell me whats wrong.

ya i was driving and i got to my friends house and i whent to back up and it started vibrating like crazy then when i got it going it made this thumping sound every time my wheel whent around even in nuetral it made the noise.

I'll remove, rebuild and reinstall it for $1500.00 plus parts !

did you have fluid in your tranny?, maybe the gears are seized to the shaft...
happened to me

im sure subaru will take care of that matter.

Ya thats me. And they will tell me whats wrong when it gets back from subaru ill be sure to let you know.

livermore subarus is terrible, i brought it there twice, for the tranny, and they didnt fix it either time, you should have brought it to ron price subaru in so sanfran, i feel sorry for you, good luck
