I'd be suprised if you could post this in the News and Rumors section
How old are you? If you are under 18 then it could be possible. Why don't you ask your parents to see the insurance policy where it states the 1500 mile limit.

Lucky bastard, My first car was a toyota pick-up truck. Fate has smiled on you young grasshopper. When you break it in go find some rice-boy and show him a thing or two. I had to wait untill I turned 24 to do such things in an acura integra. Its really fun and I just hope you take some real driving lessons before you go out and rip up some pavement.
1. Is your insurance company telling you that or your parents?
2. My insurance co. noted the mileage on my used Civic when I first changed to them - actually, the place I took it to be inspected for them noted it - but they never cared after that. (Nobody ever asked 'bout my WRX 'cos she was brand spanking new)
3. The only link I'm aware of between insurance and mileage is that a company may give you a discount if you keep it low - I believe someone told me under 7,500 miles / year. I can't imagine it being much of a discount though. (This is why they'll ask you how many miles you expect to put on it in a year)
Bonkers.

Yeah thats definite BS. Your parents are just making that up to keep you from behind the wheel. How is the insurance company going to know A. how many miles gets put on it and B. Who put those miles on
