I'm shopping for some health insurance and was wondering what everyone had here as well as whether you were happy with the coverage you had.
Anyone wanna share?

All health insurance is going out of control with costs in the last 10 years.
I'm with UHC for general healthcare - It's been good, I guess. I do most of my care through Palo Alto Medical Foundation, which UHC will cover
Drugs are handeled by Express Scripts and they suck
My wife is on Kaiser... they are good for "interesting" stuff. If you have an odd condition they will jump to help you. For run of the mill stuff, Kaiser has not impressed me.

My wife had bad experiences with Kaiser growing up so I didn't take the Kaiser option from work. I have Health Net. It's been good. Trying to learn their system since it's HMO type but by group was annoying. But we only paid $5 to have my son.

Moma had breast cancer with Kaiser and she said they did a good job.
I have Kaiser....... havent been to the Dr in two years.

OK.. so im not in the health insurance field but I am in the health field.. Heres what you need to consider.. you can either wait a couple months and see what happens to insurance because some huge changes are going to occur.. or go and get one temporarily.. Through my family plan I have kaiser and I hate it because in example: I had a minor injury that needed to be taken care of last week and I was FORCED to go to the emergency clinic even when minor injury was not busy because I did not have an appointment. I have told my parents for a long time we need to switch out of kaiser and go to Blue Cross of America and have a good deductible.. How ever because of the change in insurance policies you may want to watch your back when signing up for one.
