I got a feeling that England is playing fake soccer.. Erikson most have bid a lot of money on a tie game. You can tell he was kinda disappointed and not excited when Gerrard score the second goal and the second goal by sweden could be safe so easily.

2-0 Ghana

US fails to score a goal this world cup (and no, that last one didn't count :P )

I'm a huge US soccer fan, but that showing vs the Czech embarrassed me. They deserved to be booted out for not representin' !!

I think so also. I had practice tonight for my semi pro team and after practice coach threw in the support the USA speech. We have one guy from Ghana and under his breath he just whispered "Go Ghana" and more than half the team joined in. I think this is a huge step down for the soccer movement when it was supposed to be so positive.

I agree I think the Ghana side will prove too strong for the US team.

I hope the US win but don't think they will. I just hope that we can pick up the game here at the track this morning

Fatass finally scored a goal, two of them. Not a bad game, Brazil looked more promising today. Go Australia!

The worse part about America's showing is the aftermath. I can't believe how Arena and Donovan are *****ing about the ref giving that penalty when the reality is Arena had a horrible strategy for all three games and all the big name players including Donovan completely disappeared. I legit goal in 3 games for the 5-th ranked team is an embarrassment. Can't wait til we get a new generation of players who want to represent the US.

BTW...Japan did a big disservice to the rest of the teams...they woke Brazil up. Hot damn! (although the Japanese goalie was spectacular in the 1st half).

They are changing the FIFA rankings from 8 year to 4 year because of the US and the Czechs. USA was 5 and Czech was 3 in the nation, both failed to advance in their group, Blatter sees that the rankings are crap finally.

If the US would have played aggressive like they did in the Italy game they would have had a better chance, not enough offensive production and Arena does a ****ty job of subbing players in and out. He should have brought Eddie Johnson on in the 60th minute of the game in Italy and just let him clean up on their tired defense. He waited too long for the Ghana game as well, just doesnt recognize that he can change the game with subs, not just replace people to let them get a run in.

Can't expect too much from a team who's coach looks like a drug addict.

US has some good players.. and they would do way better under a different coach. Somebody with more experience in international and big time games.

Unhappy

Ugly game by Brazil.Definitely not playing up to their par.
Poor UK lost Rooney and Beckham. Could've used them in penalty kicks.
