Thumbs up

Pretty good performance by team USA. Definitely better than the 1st game. Still alive and kicking. Let's see what happens on Thursday.

Yea they looked up for it and pressured the ball really well. Not sure on the Ref's performance but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

Should make for a nail bitter last game for everyone in the group.

italians are a bunch of diving ***s... they should get a damn oscar and not a win...

the ref was smoking massive italian sausage this game..

over all i think the US was robbed.

basicly most of the game they played a man down.. pure shiat if you ask me...

i hope to god italy ends up playing brasil so we can p0wn0rz them hard core... **** those diving ***s

as for the brasil vs croatia match.. they were putting up a helluva defense.. even then you saw moments of briliance from a few brasilian players.. their goal keeper had some awesome saves as well. All and all you should expect to see top notch brasilian soccer the first game or two. Not until its win or go home time do they start to step the game up a bit..

hopefully tomrrow will be another win for us

I wouldn't call it diving... the US went in on every challenge. I did see Totti dive before he was subbed out, but thats about it. Luca Toni doesn't dive, he was getting pressured every time the ball was at his feet and there was contact. Their gameplan was to not let Italy hold the ball and knock it around, they wanted to keep them frustrated. They just had to realize the ref was calling little fouls and stop coming in every time.

I do agree that the double yellows were a little ridiculous, Balboa was even talking about how you pull them aside and tell them next time they will be sent off, to calm down. The first was a makeup red for sure, the second should have never happened. Arena should have subbed in Johnson up top and played for the win, the back line was doing a good job of holding them off.

AND... Thanks for the site, Mexico is now my desktop background.

I dunno Dre, Brasil didn't look all that great today despite the fact that they won. It certainly wasn't the Brasil side that I'm used to seeing, and Ronaldo needs to have fewer Big Macs.

ronaldo is at the end of his career. Robihno is doing a helluva a job making him look old..

As for the game.. i was damn happy to see them towards the end start to play proper soccer. The aussies put up a helluva fight all the way to the end, that is for damn sure. And i agree things didnt get good till the end of the 2nd. But hey its only the second game of the cup and we are still 2-0

i just hope they can continue to play better and better (which they should be able to do just that).. The fun starts when its win or go home time..

Yes Dre that's a nice move, I believe it's been seen before once or twice though

I have to say that the Brazil team do look to have some issues with the center of defence and goalkeeper dealing with high *****. After the Aussie game it will be interesting to see how people go against them in the knock out stages.

Ze Roberto had a great game with some of the best tackling I have seen so far.

That's the one SYMPATHY STAR that the U.S. team deserves. They SUCK, everyone in the world knows THEY SUCK, and they do so with more enthusiasm than the girls in your other (NWS) post.
