The "What did you do to your car today" Thread!
That sucks. Around here someone is getting a ticket if the damage looks to exceed $500.

Went to get smogged at a STAR station.
Thought it was going to pass with flying colors since it's 100% stock drivetrain save for an OEM STi axleback, but they had trouble getting it to pass the first time.

Went back to the dyno, took out some spark, richened it up the engine, hottest we got was 98C through out all the simulations which lasted around 90 mins.
Waiting for some different spring rates to come in and I'm going to pull apart the diff to put a different final drive and upgraded LSD then off to the track.
recorded with a better camera

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH.
**IIRC The responding Officer is still required to advise dispatch if acting in Official capacity (too late and I'm too tired to remember the correct term) so therefore at the very least there should be an entry in Dispatch's Log about that with the Officer's Badge Number and Vehicle # that you can then go off of. Basically if they stop and follow proper procedure they key up their collar or dash mic and advise they're 10-6, 10-12, 10-23, 10-38, 10-46, whatever. Heck if the Officer really wanted to follow procedure he/she also conducted a 10-27 and a 10-28 (Verify License and Registration).
Heck, you can even have your insurance company request said officer at the very least file an incident report within the 30 day time frame so as to provide proof of your claim.
*All calls and chats into Dispatch are also recorded, whether or not the call originated from a 911 Call. Which of course means they're also available as evidence, should someone subpoena or request them.
Ask me how I know.
