The "What did you do to your car today" Thread!

I know that the rear STI Vs. Forester STI lateral links are different (the forester ones are slightly shorter so not as much camber)...again from what I have been told at least.
Are you sure? as I have been told the Forester units are not +1 caster correcting(moving the front tire slightly forward...or is it back?) where the STI ones do. I know that the rear STI Vs. Not all STI arms are caster adding either. I think it was 06 and 07 or only 07 that didn't get the caster adding arms. 06 WRX also randomly got a set of non caster adding aluminum arms. Also, the only JDM STIs that came with caster adding arms were spec C I believe. There's some good threads to know how to tell if an aluminum arm is caster adding or not

Tyler would know best because he's done a ton of research. There was no need for me to get the forester sti as they are the same like he said. Our alk will add some caster as well.
It's not really an ALK if it's meant to be on the car. When Lance swaps to the GD rear subframe and removes the front subframe spacers, that would make it similar to a whiteline ALK. Especially with the poly bushings we are putting in.

Oh crap i totally forgot about that....it will be a long time before my geometry is 100% corrected or STI. Oh well all in due time. These control arms are going to make a huge difference, i am sure of it. I think my 124k front bushings are crappy lol

Here's a reply back to you lance!
SuperPro bushing and etc install tonight.
-Front Roll Center Kit
-Front LCA Bushing
-Steering Rack Bushings (Whiteline ones were 10 years old)
-Rear Carrier Inserts
-Was going to do the front sway bushings but they were not the right versions.
Also lowered the car about half an inch. Alignment will be tomorrow.
New shop name after Jason took over. Soon to be all of us at a track day hopefully.

Nice install Heedz. I had no problems installing mine last night and now the front end is super planted and responsive now. De_engineered the super pros do have little grooves on then that hold grease in there. They were very nice to work with and i liked them a lot better than have to press new ones in.

When they start going sour, or I replace more exisiting ones, good to know there's a better alternative.
