As you can see in the pictures. That's what happens when e85 gunks up and why you're suggested to drive the car or not let it sit. In this case the filter was put in 4 years ago never touched . Works just fine though.

Is that really due to e85? Its mostly ethanol, which eats carbon. E85 cleans carbon right up, so I'm not so sure its due to e85.

Over my weekend, replaced my brake pads with stoptechs, and washed and detailed. Need someone to clay bar it, but I'm not sure it can be done with the 3M clear bra over the whole front end.

E85 creates a weird black gunk when it sits. This was also after 4 years of use without cleaning the filter out at all.

clay barring can be done you just don't have to claybar the clear bra'd section just the seam where the clear bra ends. Its not too difficult. @d_heimbigner

Thats the rubber hoses getting broken down by the ethanol. It's nasty stuff, especially if it gets to your injectors...

Pro Tune for my birthday. My car decided that this wasn't exciting enough and blew the radiator at the end of the tune. Two hours later after same-day oe replacement and some new caps I'm back to hooning
