Yeah actually it was an excellent alignment for what the car has now (stock suspension). When I start upgrading they said I would have to fix camber myself but I spoke to the tech and they said to just not listen to them and he'll help me out. I can post the sheet soon.

Almost ran over a biker...
I was half way into the 4 way intersection, and a biker did NOT stop at the sign and kept going. If I didnt slam on brakes, I would've ran him over. He yells at me saying it was all my fault and all this bs and I was so close to getting out of the car and smacking him in the face.. but instead i kept my cool and left the area immediately. god damn bikers....

nasty........... lol*Biker, or bicyclist? B/C I know where you live it's likely the latter. Had 3 idiots in Danville this week blow a sign and almost get hit by D.P.D., was funny as hell watching the Officer blip the siren and pull all 3 over.

thats awesome. Wish the cops here did something more about bicyclists.
So what should've taken 1 hour at the most took me almost 2. Tried installing my Nameless midpipe today, only to strip the 2 factory bolts because they were totally rusted together. Ended up driving to a place called PIT ROW in Santa Clara which was very cool. Threw the car on a lift and the shopowner gave me a blowtorch to burn off the bolt. Problem fixed!! Now I can't wait for the section to break in but it already sounds awesome!

Just midpipe and axelback for now. The downpipe is very well designed from everything I've seen, but it's also very expensive, well built. Not ready for stage 2 yet. Reliability and just a little more power is my focus for now.
Went for a drive, for the first time in months. So nice! My car is getting closer to done. Transmission replacement (not swap) is done, though now it's a late '04-'05 gearbox with the STi short linkage. I did not think that would make much difference, but it's nice and direct feeling. My linkage was all crappy and rusty, so just replaced it.
Still trying to figure out what to do with my exhaust now. I had the old Vishnu TBE on there which I really liked but had some issues and is a single large tip when I wanted a twin-tip setup. So, now my car has a stock downpipe and a Perrin twin-tip cat-back on it. I have a Stromung down and cat to replace the stock pieces, but - that will just be louder! Looks perfect, but way too loud. It's fun out there on the roads but way too loud to fire up at 6am and let it idle for a minute.
I put the Vishnu up for sale pretty cheap but seems like no one is interested, so I am going to see if I can just have it fixed and put it back on I guess. Maybe a shop can do up dual tips coming out of the muffler. We'll see.
For now my car has Swift springs which are a perfect drop for my purposes, an ALK, STi aluminum front arms and a Cusco rear sway bar. It feels nice, though it needs an alignment. Also, my mechanic fixed some pre-existing issues with the clutch (new RPS StreetMax) and brakes (Porterfield R4-S on PowerSlot rotors). A weirdly goopy clutch release bearing, and a stuck RH caliper pin. Car drives totally different now. Even more fun than my Corolla.
Need to sort out that exhaust though!
