Washed the Van, drove on a delivery and visited Hide @ work. The truck, beat up on it this weekend, parked under this mess.
(There had to be easily 1000 of the little bastards out in Pleasanton by Peets. Cloud of 'em over the field there. Annoyingly loud too.)

Followed up by a nice long distance drive and a wash.

Then having to wash it all over again because our Touch-Up Contractor got clear coat over-spray all over it while working on a bumper corner making all the dust that fell overnight turn into little sticky/dirty spots everywhere.

[QUOTE="91vtec;3474190"] Yea did it by myself, driver side rear was the most annoying but with patience and removing the air box i got it replaced. Few more scratches on my hand than planned. Havent noticed any issue with redline but will most likely switch back to oem since i plan on doing my intervals at 1500 or so.[/QUOT

Why so short on the intervals? Are you tracking frequently? My OCI is every 3k, but that's because I drive her quite hard. Actually I've heard before that the redline was not so good on gr models.

Ditto, WTH's the other synthetic that is actually decent, heck, just run the new idemitsu or that other one (not motul).

E85. The interval is different for us. Same thing with the spark plug interval.

Ivan honestly i've heard that redline isn't good for our cars as well. As with everything i don't think it really matters if we are changing so soon. OEM i hear shears to a lower weight oil pretty fast but as i said again i think any synthetic oil is decent since we are changing so frequent. I personally run amsoil.

I was thinking of getting amsoil but since the intervals are going to be short i figured ill start considering cost

Well unless you plan on tweaking the ss to different throw and height then stick with the cobb but if youre like me and only want to do it once then get the kartboy.

They felt the same for the most part, yea the cobb can be adjusted but unless you have the time to adjust it then its not worth the extra cash.

Both are better than stock
My 2 cents

Got a compression/leak down done before I go the next step of putting full exhaust. RBMS is great and took me in quickly before the holidays on short notice. Gotta love how quickly they work and do the job right.

Holy ****. Can't believe you had a leakdown/compression for something as small as a full exhaust. Crazy. At least you know you have a healthy engine so far. Cheers to more boost!
