A base model fit IS fully equiped! The only differences with the sport are the spoiler/body kit, wheels, radio I think, and if you get the automatic the paddle shifters... The interior is the same, all the major options are still the same, and starts out at less than $14k.

Absolutely, but it does happen - especially with newly released cars. That is what kept me out of the 350Z when I was ready with a downpayment on the pre-order - was even gonna trade in my '84 turbo Z. Later I learned how much they sucked and was pretty happy, but Falore Nissan wouldn't budge on anything less than a $10k markup for a car you were not allowed to test drive or even see. They sold them all. Lotsa stupid people out there (like the people who paid $100k+ for the first '01 M3s).

Thats all you have to say.

I'd pay MSRP for a fit, but if any dealership insists on a markup, I've got umpteenmillion others to try...

I tried ALL the honda dealerships in the south and east bay...maybe I wasn't serious enough cause I was shopping for my sis and not myself...but none would budge on the mark up. They were kinda ****** about it too. Maybe it's better in sac?

Its better when you wait a little while, or order it rather than buying one off the lot. But going to outskirt areas (like Auburn, Fairfield, etc.) offers more opportunities. The internet too, internet sales seem to have less issues with price haggling from what ive seen.

I bought my Honda Pilot EX-L with DVD at the dealership in Fairfield and got it for an excellent price. I would highly recommend them to anyone buying a Honda!
