Worth it to watch all of Formula D?

So... practice session at noon and then a bunch of crap until finals @7pm.

My friends want to go, I'm pretty convinced only the finals will be interesting. So guys who have been to it, what do you think? How should I spend my day?

I just got back. I thought the event was pretty good, but a little redundant. They only drifted 3 corners and thats about it. It was cool seeing all those cars especially when they drive into the pits and park next to their booths you can get really close and they rev and it's loud as hell. Great experience, but the actual drifting part was a little ...boring. We left after a few rounds. We just went around the booths and cehcked the stuff out..got some posters and took some pics. A little hot and sunny, wish I had an umbrella. The best part was the drive on the north bay roads, a little scary and we had to stop hauling after we saw so many cars on the road. Going to the event through the windy road was a blast, very little cars.

Sunday Pictures.

Saturday Pictures.

Keep in mind, this is my first time doing drifting coverage. So be easy on me

You do not see lots of drifting pictures, because due to Drifting.com, I was assigned the pit area. So most of my pics are from the pit area, not drifting. Yet I manage to snap some good drifting pics.

This year sucked, there was a 2hour break and there was no Demo this year. Plus there were freaking little bugs all over landing on you and it was ***ing hawt!

Only good part was leaving the parking lot and seeing some drifter in a 240sx drive fast in the dirt, bottom out and ruined his front end

haha Hulk Hogan was the best part today. Talking about bringing his Supra to drift.

The LS1 powered 240sx was pretty cool, too bad it majorly crashed

Sweet! Even better if he brought his daughter instead of his douche bag son.
