I'm no lawyer, but:
1. OP provided automotive repairs for money..entered into a contract ..w/o being registered with the BAR, which is illegal.
2. The money owed will most likely never be recoverable, legally.
3. CaliSuby could actually contact the BAR, file a complaint, and possibly recover what money he's paid the OP.

The point is, people don't always follow the law exactly, most of the time it doesn't really make any difference, but that doesn't mean it is okay for someone to pull **** like what Louis did.
wow! good bye an hour of my day off haha. Sorry all this happened, it was intersting to read as a new member but its also really nice to see people care about i-club integrity!

Yes, what he did is technically illegal. Just like installing a downpipe on your car is illegal, or installing TGV deletes, or a FMIC, or an intake, or any number of very common modifications that people do to their cars. Hell, I am sure everyone here follows the speed limit at all times too right?

It's like calling the cops because someone stole your weed. It's not going to work.
its inevitable becuse people like that are always out there as long there are kind people that go out of their way for them to take advantage of

They will take a bite out of your ***.
