He had to know he was going to be trade bate this year. He's good but he's aging and the lakers need to get younger if they want to be winners after Kobe is done and they need to make drastic moves if they want to win while Kobe can still help.... and help usher in the new guard.
I think the Warriors are trying to make some deals or acquire somebody big, payroll wise (I hope it's not for acquiring DeAndre Jordan, paying him at around $10m a year is way too high). Jeremy Tyler and Klay Thompson haven't been signed yet because of this. And since they haven't been signed yet, they haven't participated in practice.
Edit: looks like they really are trying to get DeAndre Jordan for around $10m....
Charlie Bell is an idiot. He's in jail at this moment because he showed up legally drunk at court for a hearing on his drunk driving case that occurred back in October when he was drunk driving and driving with a suspended license.

Watching the Warriors is like watching the Harlem Globetrotters. It's almost always entertaining, but at the end of the day it doesn't mean anything since they won't end up doing anything later on.
I mean seriously, we cannot seem to attract big name free agents to come here, we never seem like are even TRYING to make a big move that gets us out of the cellar. We aren't trying to put together a team that goes all the way, all we ever seem to get is a team that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE MIGHT make it into the playoffs as a # 8 Seed.
We as fans, deserve a better product then what the Warriors owners & management have been giving us over the years. Yeah, there are definitely guys that we love here in the Bay Area and we hate to see them go, but we haven't had the Super Stars end up on our team. The guys that we can sit there with year in & year out and not just pray and hope we make it into the playoffs, but the guys that we KNOW will take us there year in & year out.

Big, young, athletic center (6'11" 265 lbs 23 yrs old) who can block shots and rebound (think Udoh's defense plus rebounding). Every time the Warriors played the Clippers, he stuffed everyone who tried to drive to the basket. His offense is still raw (dude's got some hops though) and his free throws are as bad as Biedrins, but I think this guy has potential. I was initially against paying him $10m, but I've changed my mind now. He will be a great piece to help out David Lee on the defensive side.

Warriors just amnestied Charlie Bell. Have no clue why they would use it on him when we haven't acquired or traded for anyone. If it's for DeAndre Jordan, dunno why they would do it since Clippers are looking to match the Warriors' offer. What a waste of the amnesty provision.
They also pulled their offer on Reggie Williams. Won't be seeing him as a Warrior this season.
Jeremy Lin just got picked up by the Rockets off waivers.

Some more news:
Warriors up the offer for DeAndre Jordan (which he just signed). 4 years for $42.7 million. Clippers have 3 days to match it.
Hence the reason to amnesty Charlie Bell (in my above post).
