Warriors thread
^ Only problem is, we have too many perimeter shooters. There's nobody to penetrate the lane.
Myers says his phone is blowing up with this pick with teams inquiring about Barnes. Warriors might move Barnes for an established veteran before the night is over.

that is true, but honestly imo he was the best player to take. you can make an argument for drummond, but i think he is too big of a risk for an organization like the warriors to take. i'm happy with the pick either way. only thing i'm bummed about is it sounds like dorell wright is likely on his way out.

plus i think they are really banking on Bogut being big man we've always craved and needed. Curry, Matthews, Barnes, Lee, and Bogut isn't lookin too bad...
Warriors take 6'11" center Festus Ezeli with #30 pick. Good defender and shot blocker, mediocre rebounder. Think a bigger Epke Udoh.

Dorell Wright traded to the 76ers for a bag of chips. lol j/k
But seriously, he was just traded to the 76ers for the rights to Edin Bavcic, an overseas prospect who'll most likely never play in the NBA.

Pretty nice showing by the Warriors in the summer league. Yesterday they destroyed the Lakers by 41 points with Barnes and Thompson scoring almost as much as the Lakers whole team combined.
They're playing today at 3pm vs the Nuggets on NBA Tv.
