Rumor has it that Corey Maggette's contract is being shopped around. Milwaukee wants Maggette in exchange for Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric. Yay Gadzilla (and his expiring contract)!
^ the warriors are gonna stink it up even more this season with that trade. But I guess the bright side is a year or two from now, the Warriors, with possibly a new owner, will make some big moves since they freed up cash dumping Maggette, Gadzuric, Bell, Radmonovic, and most important of all, Don Nelson.

That's a horrible trade even with the cap room from Gadzuric. Who can play the 3 besides Maggette? And why get rid of a guy who shots a nice FG and FT%, who can play the 2 and 4 for a small 2 and expiring contract. It not like free agents are knocking on the warriors door either.
It's official. Warriors trade Maggette to the Bucks for Gadzuric and Bell. I wonder if this affects their draft decision since they were sure to pick Monroe.
Forgot to mention, Warriors 2nd round 44th pick was also included in the deal to the Bucks

You must of be the only person that likes the burnt orange jerseys! I'm stoked that they went back to the blue and yellow, it brings me back to the Run TMC days

Yes Maggs had a good shooting % last season, but the trade had to be made! We get rid of the $31 mill left on his contract for 2 expiring contracts. Now we just need to get a decent trade for Ellis and Beans
Warriors are now leaning towards Udoh instead of Monroe. If JaMarcus...err...I mean DaMarcus lands to #6, Warriors will take him instead.
Bit of news: Warriors owner still looking to fire sale the whole team. According to Chad Ford of ESPN, #6 pick is for sale, so long as somebody takes Monta Ellis with that pick.
Wouldn't be surprised if Biedrins is gone before the summer's over.

Warriors take Ekpe Udoh in the draft. Similar player to Wright and Randolph.
Probably means one of those 3 are likely going to be involved in a package deal with Ellis or Biedrins in a trade later on

Some rumors:
Warriors are interested in getting David Lee. Would be a trade for Monta Ellis.
Other rumors is a 3 way trade with NY, Minnesota, and GS where Ellis goes to NY, Lee to Minnesota, and Jefferson to GS.

Larry Riley needs to stay put, even though he's answering calls from other teams. That organization needs to hold off until the new owner(s) come in.

I'll be watching the Bulls now since I'm moving near Chicago next month
I wouldn't make the trade for Lee.
First off, if a new owner comes in, he would be the one who would want to make that decision, not Riley nor the incompetent Cohan.
2nd, making a significant trade like this would make the bidding process more difficult, as bidding right now is for the current roster and the Warriors franchise.
3rd, sending Ellis in a trade for Lee wouldn't be wise, considering the current ownership is trying to save money/reduce cap space, not add to it. Having the Knicks sign and trade Lee to the Warriors would just mean that the Warriors are going to be the same: having no cap space to sign a superstar-caliber player in the near future.
4th, Lee plays no defense whatsoever. His only other skill other than offense is rebounding.
5th, Lee is a PF. We already have 3 skinny PFs in Wright, Randolph, and Udoh. All with better defensive capabilities than Lee.
6th, Randolph would be the most likely suitor to be involved in the Ellis/Lee trade to make it work.
If it was the 3-way trade with Minn, NY, and GS, we'd end up with Al Jefferson, who also plays no defense.
