200RWHP = WHP of a tuned 02-03 with a turboback in a straight line... I dunno does it need that much power to turn?

The tires used are the optional summer performance tires for the Prius in Japan. The tires were chosen to make the car slide a bit.

If I ever get one, that's the first things I am changing...slide around my @rse
No way in hell I'm buying a 25k+ sports car with only 200bhp. You can get used corvettes for that price! I don't care how easily it can do mad tyte drift0rz in residential school zones, you can put skinny ****ty tires on any car and do that.

And I agree with you that after having been in fast cars, lesser powered ones feel painfully slow.

Haha, I know; it sounds like an oxymoron. One of Joel's friends has an FR-S and went for a ride. He was surprised by much grip there really was with the tires.

Yeah, Joel told me about his impressions. I test drove a BRZ in Anchorage; it is a nice car, but IMHO not $30k+ nice that was being asked by the dealer (not sure about CA mark ups). I would wait for the 2nd generation and the aftermarket companies to come out with parts...

These car are handling dreams. The amount you an push them into corners is crazy for a cheap *** sports car. And I love mine to death, but I still would rather build a S202 clone

Don't think a turboback is going to fix it.

I'm to the point in driving mine to where I feel it needs 30-40 more HP and it'd be perfect! But the turbo/STI Brz will be waaay too over priced..

Getting 30 to 40 out of N/A is not the easiest thing to do.
Maybe intake, header, exhaust, and tune. Dunno if anything can be done with the fuel delivery. E85 wont help you. With bolt ons you will probably get a decent amount and a tune will help you get the most usable powerband.
I am curious how much powaaaaa someone can make if they built up the new N/A motor. Cam'd out with some head work etc..
