Clarkson is such a Hoon! I wanna drive one of these stat. Been seeing a lot of the frs on the road lately. There's a white one in Marin that is on a set of goldies and it looks real purty like.

Talked to a Corporate Subaru rep.

"I'm ****ing tired of these kids coming and asking me where the STi model is, the turbo one is, or... the supercharged one is..... This car needs to stay N/A"

Awesome man!!!!

I think it's amazing to see Clarkson really liking this car. Remember, this is Mr. "POOWWAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!" we're talking about

A lot like his review of the RX8. That's a good thing.

should it stay N/A? I think my stock WRX is pretty slow... not sure how I would feel driving the BRZ.

Sounds like you don't know anything about this car. If you think your stock subaru is slow I have no clue wth you're comparing it to.

It's fine staying N/A. The BRZ was never not about straight line performance. It's meant to be a fun handling car. You'd be surprised by how much speed the BRZ/FR-S can carry through turns in stock form.

I personally won't touch them until I see at least 200HP from the factory.

It's ever so close to being an awesome car

The engine is rated at 200HP for the US market. Unless you mean to the 200WHP.

I am wondering if Clarkson's statement about BRZ/FRS using the same eco (low roll resistance) tires as the Prius is true, which allows for such easy loss of traction.
