<snip...>

That's a long way to haul a car on a flatbed or enclosed trailer/transport for 14 meatballs.

I've had my car tuned by both I-speed and Vishnu - Neither, would release a map that pinged.

Thank god for at least one non-veiled, non-partsian voice in at least 3 pages

I think the only things we've learned so far is that ATP has inadequate cooling (FACT), and until Shiv gets his fan back, so does he (OPINION)

Actually now that you mention it so did I back in the day, neither pinged for me either.

I had the opprtunity to experience both vishnu and i-speed tuning. I have to admit that both poduced a great map for me and without and detonation or pinging. Both are great tuners but the reason for me ultimately going with i-speed is because of their far more superior customer service. When I had issues with their product, they replaced it with no questions ask. Whereas with shiv, I had just a simple question for him over the phone, he was very short with me and RUDE.

I know the customer service aspect has nothing to do with tuning but it does have everything to do with selling/pushing your product on the consumer. Just thought I'd share this...

Just to throw some more mud into the mix ... are we strickly comparing peak HP/Torque or does usable power come into play too? If someone is pretty good at 2nd order non-linear diff. calculus ... could they post up the surface area underneath the dyno plot curves from 2000 rpm to 6000 rpm?

Thanks,
Steve

Joe, it is not even worth talking about....everyone knows how I feel.

If shivnu got those peak numbers and then got some ping...like Bill....we wouldnt be having this discussion...he would have put in another map and adjusted it a bit!! chiv would have been the winner anyway. Oh wait...didnt that happen?

and if there is going to be a 1/4 run test....the cars need to have the same mods...equal drivers. Just one tuned by shivnu...and the other by Bill. No lil map switching and 100 octane. Just good O'l fashion "bad gas" 91 octane.
