Subaru's dynoing at ATP tommorow from 10 - 4ish

there's a thread on BAIC on the other forum about it but didn't see anything posted about it here. Lots of WRX dynoing and they're doing a ECU shootout as well.

I think all the spots are pretty much spoken for but who knows...

The shootout got kinda bunged up as the test car had some mysterious things going on with it. The owner of the car had some people install and uppipe, hoses and turbo timer is what he *thought*. After several mysterious runs some further investigation was done and Shiv & Ed uncovered a "not so stock" restrictor in one of the hoses.

I let them borrow my stock restrictor, but his car was still running a lot leaner than it should. So the runs that made the highest numbers also had some nasty sounding detonation. So I'm not sure you can declare a specific ecu a winner. That being said I don't have any of the dyno plots but I do remember some mad dips from pinging/ecu pulling timing on the highest runs.

I've been told by 3 people that when every person was up there, they were all pinging... however, Bill was able to pull 219, power dropped down after peaking, and THEN it was pinging... where shiv was pinging earlier in the rev range. Also told that Cobb was pinging on it's baseline map.

Didn't help that it was a million degrees, and ATP didnt have any dyno fans.

Sorry, here is my point

Bill put down the most power before pinging. They all pinged one way or another, however, Bill's was the best of the three.

What there the numbers?

219 Bill vs Vishnu 210 vs Cobb 203?

am I right?

No tuner was at any advantage over any other tuner. All things were equal... well, not really, but i'm not going to talk, cause i wasn't there...
