no, they assume you got it legally.

only when you start acting like a total dolt, will they ask you to leave...

as for a cleaning guide, check the manufacterer's website.

if not, various forums exist for each gun.

i hang around www.sigforum.com for my SIG needs...

Very cool! Seems a shotgun isn't quite the answer its made out to be (except for the aforementioned effect of the sound of the chamber being loaded).

Wow, neat info. A Sharps is nothing to mess with. An old friend's dad has one, he waited 5 years for it. He makes his own bullets. He can drop things you can only see in a spotting scope with that thing. Cut down trees, whatever. Amazing.

you are reading it backwards.

remember, a firearm is only good if you hit the target.

the target is a body. not sheetrock.

i know i wouldnt want to be a recepient of even the smallest buckshots...

now note his test shotgun had no choke.

a choke controls the spread of the buckshots.

http://www.shotgunchokes.com/info1.html

BoT's site says his distance was 12 feet. that's probably the average size of a bedroom or like a living room.

2. Once again, please notice the size of the entrance spreads....2 1/2" to 3 1/2". Therefore, anyone that says, "With a shotgun, you don't even have to aim. Just point it in the general area of the bad guy, and you can't miss", does not know what they are talking about.

You can very easily miss with a shotgun. You must aim to hit your target.
you just need to practice with it.

like all NEW tools, you just dont buy it and expect to the a expert at it.

Depends. Target Masters wouldn't let my friend get a lane by himself, but as long as I rented the lane he could fire at will. I don't know about the legalities behind it though.

It's not about laws, any business (except doctors) have the right to refuse service to anyone, so they excercise that right if they are concerned that someone might try to kill themself.

I went with 2 non-citizen Fillipino friends today to Target Masters and they didn't even ask once for their green card or anything. All the guy asked for was their Califonia ID's and they were cool.

And this dude next to us somehow shot the cable that is connected to the pulley system and broke it with his Glock. It was quite comical.

Only reason they wont let someone in is if they go in alone and want to rent a gun... They have had suicides in the past, and dont want it happening again.
