I have never been in a situation where I had to use em, however my dad chased some guy down in our backyard trying to steel our punching bag... after everything we were laughing histaricly at my dad sitting there with his side arm while wearing his tighty whities talking to the police.

I mean, if you've gonna shove a gun in someones face, yes, you're being a retard and you're probably going to get yourself killed... but thats not being prepared. (Owning guns and using them for self defense).
