rollcall...snowboarding...you know who you are.
I still don't know about that board as an all around board. The travis rice boards are way better for all mountain smashing. The skate is fun for jibbing around and stuff but I wouldn't want to be on one for a groomer smash day, ice day or slush day. Hell... even a true powder day.
Word it bond!

Though I haven't demo'd a Lib in the recent past, they've been on my radar for quite some time.
Hell... the only non-cambered deck I've ever ridden was a Burton Hero on a day w/ about 6-9 inches of mostly-tracked-out pow. While it had nice float & pop, I found it a bit soft for my liking. So it wasn't so much that it was rockered that didn't jive w/ me as it was that the amount of stiffness & response I've grown accustomed to wasn't there.

Wowzers! I'm surprised, too. I woulda thought the Skunk Ape or Attack Banana would be more suited to ride-with-power guys like Lance & you, Ray.

But I will try out a cambered board at some point but the only one will be one of the travis rice boards. I'm gonna see if I can score my buddies hand me down from last year on the cheap. LOL. Sell off my GLX if I have to.

Yeah.. I love camber. Nothing like pushing through a turn and GAINING speed. Your never summer is a SICK board. Thing rides so damn nice. It's like a Caddy CTSV. All the comfort of a caddy with all the power and handling to boot.

I'm gonna enjoy this season. I gotta start breaking in those Burton boots and get used to wearing them. Get a little stiffer setup to go with the board.

I bought a Lib Tech TRS BTX 2010 model last year to replace my 6 year old Solomon board.
After getting used to it, I'm totally in love with it. So very happy with it and the purchase. It almost makes everything 50x easier.
I'd recommend it to anyone that does over all riding.

The part I was really concerned with was straight line, hard charge on hard pack...and it was fine. And even with sz13 boot I still went with the standard width (hate wide boards). The test for me was Siberian Express @ Squaw...a run that I normally just straight line on camber boards. I hit it once and actually made a few turn...then the 2nd time I just bombed it and the board held edge...you just have to ride it aggressively like you would a stiff camber board.
Absolutely a sick board to have in the quiver.

Let me put it this way...I really, really, really tested the board hard. Off piste, groomed runs, straight lines, and some light park...all on the 1st day. Then after I purchased it I got a powder day @ kirkwood and it was still a fun fun board with no issues. I was really surprised about the whole thing...I was very skeptical.

I was grinning ear-to-ear reading your mini-review, esp. the part about bombing Siberia Bowl. I only get to Squawllywood maybe once a season or two. I caught a late-season day this past year & ripped it down on the 1st run. My buddies who joined me on the trip were like, "Damn! I thought you said you like to warm up on your 1st run or two." I thought so, too. But I guess it popped into my head after dropping in that my day at Northstar the day before was plenty enough of a warm-up.

Oh, and I just remembered... I hadn't even fully laced up my boots yet either.
I like to make sure my liners are plenty warm before I cinch eveything down nice & snug.I'd love to catch a demo day (I'd hit the early season one @Dodge during my 1st couple seasons.), but I fear my wallet will be hurting soon after.

Yea I am at times disappointed with the demo days around. I wanted to demo a NS board before I bought this other but they were only going to sugarbowl. And it was in late march.
In case some of y'all were thinking of getting the Tahoe Card, you have an hour to get it for only $60, which is 50% off.
It comes w/ several comp lift tix, a comp ticket to the snow expo (which gives you a couple more comp lift tix, too), 2 free weeknites @ the Grand Sierra in Reno & much, much more.
I get the card every season as it's been one of the ways that my avg. lift ticket runs me around $30. Not bad for 10+ days while hitting up at least a half dozen resorts, eh?

Thanks for the link. I was still able to sign up this morning. Looks like you can also get a $5 refund (pays for S&H cost) if you opt out of receiving the magazines.
