Went to Northstar yesterday. Meh, got pretty icy in the afternoon.

 

I hear there's a lot of snow heading our way. Finally.

 

The way the forecast is shaping up, we may have to be patient. I'm no meteorologist, pyschic, etc., but I have a strong feeling that the amount of snowfall & strength of winds on Tues & Wed will mean limited lift ops or possible closure on Wed and/or Thur. And don't call me a jinx.

I got my sights set on powder-hunting on Fri.

 

Looks like I will be calling in sick one day soon

 

I was up last Monday & Wednesday, and had a pretty good time both days. Basically had to stick to groomers since everything else was pretty dicey, though.

I'm planning on heading up Monday even though it's a holiday and riding for 2-3 days.

 

Damn, and i'm going to put my new enkeis on tomorrow to.

 

Sierra's parks are off the hook right now. 4 parks and a sick pipe.
Today was rediculously fun!

 

I'm afraid of this as well. Ray and I are thinking of heading up on Wednesday. After the foot or so of snow falls tuesday night. Wednesday is calling for winds 23-25 with gusts up to 37 and dumping snow as of right now. Calling for another 10 inches as we're riding. That's what I'm talking about.

Lookin' to daytrip to Dodge on Saturday. Conditions should be amazing. Gonna bring the showshoes just in case too many people had the same idea I had before I get there.
