Cottage would be rad but it gonna be a MADHOUSE on easter weekend and I'm pretty sure they're closed so there is the chance of getting booted out of there.
It looks we'll do our sledding @BearXC's li'l hill since over half of us adults & one kid want to shred, too. That way, I can take a run down to the village & check on the sledders.

On GoogleMaps, I couldn't find exactly which spot you're talking about, but I found the Sno*Park @Spicer Rd, and that IS damn near Bear. On our way up to Bear, we'll keep our eye out for just how "MADHOUSE" it is @Cottage. Might be worth a stop as we head back down on Mon or Tues.

Thnx for the info. Can't wait to hear about y'all day today as well as rip it up on Tues!!!

Picked up my lift ticket for Tuesday yesterday at REI. Member discount lets you get it for 48.99 instead of 59.

Bah! I hopped back on here too late.

Jeff, see if you can rtn (or at least get store credit for) the rei ticket. You can buy a midweek ticket for only $32 w/ this online coupon...
http://www.snowbomb.com/community/co...L4B4F7998A7CB2

Another route is to score one of the MANY SnowBomb SnowFest ticket vouchers on craigslist...
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/s...=sss&maxAsk=30
Fyi: I set search to a max price of $30. A buddy I rode w/ @Sierra on Wed had 5 of 'em which he hooked me up with for my cousins to use 2mrw. We're doing the coupon dealio on Tues.

Can't wait to tear up the mtn w/ y'all!

The riding was awesome. Tons of untouched powder all day long and strangely a very small crowd. They barely made it up to koala corner.

Right off the day we looked up Koala and saw ONE line... ONE line. So first run we hit the 3 chair and blast the cornice. Jordan drops off then I drop off a little farther down. Stick the landing. Slash a bunch of nice turns. Jordan stops and I go by him and pop off the road. Few more turns and stop. He flies by me so I follow suite. He hits this sweet little turn and then so do I. Then coming out something happened and I got nose heavy and got bucked. Head and shoulder right into the run and flipped once on to my back.

Road the rest of the day with a head ache, stomach ace and dizzy as all hell. I think the stomach ache was from McD's on the way up but the headache was new. Hell on one run down spyglass I hit this KILLER line. Blasted off a tree stump and found a tight little run. Mocked through that to a nice roller. Floated the entire roller and puked in mid air. Was spitting chucks out when I got to the lift. Awesome!

Oh yeah... back to koala. After the fall I had to go back to the 3 chair. We did it again and went bigger off the cornice. Stuck that and made it over to koala. Blased Koala and did NOT hit a single line the entire way down.

Then we road the back for a while and road to the village. Untouched the ENTIRE time. SOOOOO sick. Jordan and I went our own way and somehow we both found the same roller at the same time. haaaaa. He hit it strait out and I came flying at it between a couple trees. I had to stick a heal turn or I would have floated right in to him. Haaaaa.

Road that run 3 times 3 different ways. The last one we hiked out and had a BLAST. Insane run all the way down. Untouched pretty much the whole way until we hit the run out to the road.

Awesome run finished with a couple kilt lifters.

Oh and for you guys that know... the dude down at skyhigh... kip. He's moving to santa cruz. How crazy is that.

Oh yeah... I forgot... on our last run out. We're smashing down by where I ran in to that cliff... well we smash that and come in to some technical tree riding. Jumping off stuff. Hard cuts. Dodging trees. etc etc etc. Well I got to the road and popped my bindings off and off went my ankle strap on my front foot. Just popped off. Hardware was all there. Just came off. I had to ride out the road with no ankle strap on my front foot. Super sketch.

If it would have popped off in that run I would have probably bailed super hard and had to hike out...

Good luck. Be safe.

From the reports I've read for all over Tahoe there will still be snow falling in the morning. So the drive up is gonna be pretty messy. I'm seeing anywhere from a couple inches to a foot of snowfall tomorrow so be ready for it.

Hopefully there won't be any wind. Riding in snow is rad. Wind sucks.

We decided to wait until Tuesday.

Have fun up there.

Spent an entire day hitting cliff lines and learned switch spins off of cliffs

We are being pounded by snow right now.

Well it's snowing at my house...not much of a drive to dodge.

Dodge Ridge out of bounds, secret spot.
We didn't bring out the camera that day since we were just messing around enjoying the powder.
