Hey boardoholic that Burton sale on Saturday, is stuff discounted or is it some kind of pre-season sale? Don't think Ill be doing anything Saturday so might as well check it out and see whats going on.
My bad... for some reason, I thought full details were posted in the ad. Here we go, brah:
They'll likely have some late-release 2010 goods available as well as 2011 stuff. Since it is a sample sale, selection will be somewhat limited as far as sizes, colors, etc.

No problem thanks for the info boardoholic. Never knew Burton owned all those brands, first noticed it when I saw a few companies had the same address as Burtons HQ. I think Ill go check it out Saturday. Sounds like it could be fun, maybe get a beanie or something.
So did you (04Impreza) or anyone else hit up the yesterday's sale?

On Fri, I took my nephew to Boreal for the day. 'Twas about 3-6 inches of fresh... some spots were a bit deeper & some less due to wind... some areas even had a crusted-up "protective shell" encasing the li'l bit of pow underneath. Too bad the backside was closed, but Cedar Ridge had some fun pillows & drops, esp. right near the base of the chair.
I had a blast on the X-course along Lost Dutchman. I ran it 4 times using each starting gate once. Seth Westcott ain't got nothin' to worry about from me!
My nephew FINALLY dialed in linking his turns! All because we watched some how-to vids a day or two before the trip, talked about body positioning as related to sports he already plays during the drive up, plus I shared a li'l gem I learned in the advanced class I took @Sugar Bowl last wknd. That whole combo just made things click for him. We were both stoked big time!
Anyway, I'm shooting for Wed (Sierra or Kirkwood) & Sat (Alpine) to ride this week. Gotta love this inbound late season snow! Powder to the people!!!

Yeap hit up that sale, wish I got paid last week and not this week
So many good deals. Gotta Analog beanie, Burton headband beanie with built in speakers (for the gf), Burton belt, Burton 2011 Super Pipe gloves, and 2 Burton face masks for $55
I pretty much only needed a belt and beanie and the face masks but the deals were too good and I really like the gloves I got. Thanks again for posting the info on the sale boardoholic
Congrats to your nephew for linking his turns! I bet he was so hyped up there.
Hoping to hit up Sierra or Northstar this Friday and probably one other time later in April. Also planning to go up to Kirkwood April 11th with my dad and his friends, hoping that'll be a ton of fun.
Be on the look out, my dad just told me he say a GM (not sure if it was GMC or Chevy) commercial that mentioned them giving you a lift ticket to Kirkwood when you test drive a 2010 model. Called up FH Dailey in SL and they aren't having that promo yet but in past years they have had the promo around this time.

D. Fantom: Hope you & your bud had a fun @Dodge today. Y'all get a chance to check out any of the X-course racing? Oh, and include w/ the folks who are jealous of your BC exploits, brah.
04Impreza: That's a load of goodies for very little green. No prob on sharing the info.
04Impreza, Steve & Matt:
Is anything special going down at The Wood on the 11th?
I'm planning to ride that day, too, w/ some folks along w/ my nephew & his best friend.
And Matt: 2 feet of fresh ain't "spring riding." Sun n slush is our typical spring riding, not knee deep pow slashes! Woot woot!!!!

In exchange for gas.
Also looked into the forcast for that week-weekend and it looks like Kirkwood will get some more fresh snow

Sick! Hope to see you guys out there or run into you two. I doubt I can hang with you guys though hahaha
I thought I was going to spend more, which still would of been a deal but when he totaled it up the belt and face masks were $5 each, each beanie was $10, and the gloves were $20
You going up to KW also?
You going up to KW also?
Yeah, hopefully all our plans hold & we can finally get those runs in, eh?
And nothin' is FREE. Just like when I offer rides up to the slopes, it's either @$$ or gas. Let's be thankful that gas money was exchanged in you guys' situation.

I didn't check out the comp, not really into the boarderx thing. But they were playing some pretty good dubstep music. Some of my friends wanted to poach into the boarderx while the comp was going on but that wasn't a good idea.
