crap, looks like im in for a trek tomorrow morning. leaving SF at 4:30am, destination Squaw.

 

friend invited me to go today and tomm. Gonna cost me a new pair of pants at least due to some lost stuff. ALso if we end up getting stuck with his crazy bi polar girlfriend and not sking it would be horrible. What are the chances I will actually be able to rip at kirkwood tomm I wondeR? today a lot of lifts on hold

 

I was going to go up today and ride tomorrow but I just made the decision not to.

With the storm and winds and possible closures, it just isn't worth it in my mind to possibly take 6-8hrs to get there and back for a possible half day of riding (if I don't get stuck in my cabin tomorrow morning)

I'll wait till next weekend.

Just wanted to share some of the numbers to a few of my faves here...

Mostly sunny skies w/ much lighter winds are expected Wed (tomorrow), Thur & Fri! I'll be at Kirkwood on Fri (...trying to sneak up on Thur, too.)! Where are you powderhounds going a'huntin'?

 

I know at bear the 5 days prior to the seven over 40 inches fell. I think it was pushing 60 inches the previous 7 so we're talking 100-120 inches in a 14 day period and they're expecting up to 16 inches today.

Not counting tomorrow through wed night.

 

hey fellas...rode tue,thur and fri last week and it was amazing!

going thur to north* for a super bluebird freshie day b4 the dew tour starts! lets go shred, i need to get over getting jacked last time i was there and throw down some sick sh*t! anybody that wants to get up, i'll be riding with subi4justin and am always down to shred with more peeps!

 

i should have one more seat open in my car on thursday!! if anyone is down to meet at my house and drop some $$$ for gas, you can come shred with us. Hit me up soon though

Dam I'm getting greedy, I rode three epic days last week but I just saw the forecast fro wed, thurs. Now I'm contemplating calling in sick!

going friday! there is so much snow up there right now, its ridiculous. Aparently Kirkwood has an ungodly amount of snow right now, so I might have to check that out pretty soon (like 100" in the past week)

Well I did it, I called in sick today and went to Squaw! Epic bluebird day, and lots of fresh pow turns.

When I was there I saw the life flight chopper land and take off. I found out that there was a slide at MT. Rose and some folks got buried. They were there to pick up the search and rescue dogs.
