I was looking at the tire rating for all season tires and the deep snow/ice rating isnt the best. Should I be fine with all seasons?

I was fine with an inch or two of fresh snow on the ground. Had to deal with ice+slush mix at a certain gas station a couple times, and was ok.

I'll let the more experienced folks address deep snow.

On a random note, I cracked my topsheet on my Burton Fix last season apparently due to some hard landings. Since my knee is blown, I decided to send the board back on warranty to see if they would help me out. Much to my delight, 5 days after I sent out my board to Vermont (Burton) I have a brand new 2010 Fix waiting to be ridden!!!
+1 for Burton although they are very popular, I will never stop riding their boards due to customer service and the EST binding system.
I will stay away from their other gear though..

Yeah Burton has replaced a board for me too, popular stuff but it's good. Morrow has also replaced a board for me hassle free.

^same here! There are a bunch of people I work with that keep talking to me about it and its killing me. We need a STORM!!!

just curious... but is there anything you can do to protect your paint when you put your roof racks on? Last season my roof racks left some marks on my car and i'm trying to prevent that from happening this season. Someone told me the 3m clearbra, but then i just read that it scratches the paint too. What works best for everyone else?

how is yoru roof rack hurting your car? are you letting people keep their leashes on? i mena those flopping around in the wind would do it.

i would just suggest painters tape.

i usually tape my front up with blue tape to the point of ridiculousness.

i wanna sun roof liek yours justin

Well the leash thing only happened once last year, but i'm talking about the actual towers itself. Its the rubber piece that was messing it up. I need something that goes on top of the paint before i put the entire setup on.

And I LOVE MY SUNROOF!! best mod that is done to my car. So many people are in shock when they see that for the first time lol

Try getting some small squares of clear bra to put where the towers sit on the roof. I'm planning to do that when I get my roof racks next week.

Got an email about Ski Dazzle going on next week. Has anyone gone to this? Is it worth it to pick up some 09 gear? I'm not looking for anything really crazy, but I'd like to get some pretty good gear for half off last year's price.

I'm used to Sniagrab (huge sports authority last season sale) in CO where you can usually get some pretty good stuff if you get there on the first day...it Ski Dazzle similar?
