anyone got the info for this weekend? im driving up sunday morning early. whats my chances of making it within a normal time frame?

it depends on how much snow.... thats why im asking.... i've heard its supposed to dump, but i've also heard its supposed to get like 1 inch... im just too damn lazy to look it up myself.

i get to sierra in about 2.5 hours without traffic. coming from petaluma. bout 2 weeks ago i made it in 4 hours on saturday night when 50 was closed. could only do about 40-45mph past kyburz until i hit idiots doing 10 mph and couldn't get around them b/c of chp behind me. that was around 11 at night.

i figure there will be more people trying to get in on sunday, so if it does take an extra hour ill be ok since im up for 3 days. sun-mon-tues. slowly working my way into beating last years day count of 30 trips. ill hvae to double check where im at now though.

 

anyone hittin up tahoe or reno this weekend? not sure which resort im goin boreal or seirra, but am headin up this evening..yeee

 

Heading up tp Jackson/Amador tonight to spend the night then heading to Kirkwood tomorrow morning...hopefully the wind doesn't pick up enough to close the lifts. Anyone riding there tomorrow?

 

I'm doing the exact same thing. Staying about 5 mins away from the Jackson Rancheria. Let's pray that 88 doesn't get closed for Avy Control.

 

It's been steady but the levels haven't been THAT big. So I'd say as long as a big wave doesn't roll through you'll be fine.

Think I'm gonna head up Sat. a.m. come home sun. evenning.

Might play cards for a couple of hours at Jackson Rancheria if I get there early enough tonight.

so my little brother is heading up Sat late afternoon/evening to ride on sunday. I want to ride Sat as well.

My plan is to drive up sat by myself or with someone else.
If anyone wants to head up and ride with me please PM me before 6pm.

Another option is you drive up and I'll come back with my brother. My car has no stereo at the moment...

so. free place to crash. i need to ride sat dang it.

got back from tahoe just now... EPIC day. traffic in the other direction on 80 was INSANE. everyone and their mother headed up. the lift lines tomorrow are going to be nuts.

supposed to be snowing all week right? either way there is going to be some sweet snow. for anyone going up this weekend, the snow (not traffic lol) must be so fun
