I was up the whole weekend.
Took omo ranch road sat, tons of snow (its unplowed) i was dumping on a 4 runner that had zero ground clearance in my 97L.......it was amazing how well it did......then i got stuck because some douche in a truck made me pull out of the ruts.....and then didnt stop.....

Sunday took 2.5 hrs to get to wood, no lifts really open....still amazing conditions.....

(you can say what ya want but I sat in the lines sat.sun it was better than any other resort......it was to windy to do ride up high anyways.....I almost got blown out of the lift chair no joke...the one next to cornice. It scared the **** out of me. our chair was pointing towards the ground......

So sunday night its all closed up, kirkwood says it will prob be open...then convinces me its opening soon, cal trans says 88 open, chp is gone......

I go 30 mins of horrid unplowed blizzard driving towards south lake, then cal trans is very mean and tells me to get my *** back to kirkwood.....then i make it back and they tell me they will probably shuttle cars....I told them to stfu nobody is getting thru............

Got a room.........
Monday-------best day everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrr

road still not open towards home had to go to southlake then back home.

This weekend was ridiculous.

Went up Friday, came back Sunday. Should have stayed until Monday. Saturday was Donner because we had a couple of scardey-cat newbies that wanted bunny hills. It was still awesome. Spent the rest of the time sledding and building tunnels with my daughter. I think the sledding killed my legs.

while monday was awesome, I was so tired from the extreme driving I did the whole time i wasn't fully there.

I wish I would have just sledded sunday.

I was at SugarBowl Yesterday and Today, OMG!
2 of the best powder days I have had in a while.
Scored a few 1st/2nd chairs on Monday. Got a few 1st of season cliff drops off of Mt. Lincoln.

Yesterday I went out without face protection and my whole beard froze up from the face shots. It hurt to smile with the ice beard, but it was too good. Today I managed to remember my neck gator and saved my face.

The powder was incredible. There was no one on the slopes. Your track from the previous run was almost covered on the next run. The wind wasn't so bad, especially in the trees. Can't wait to go up again.

Goofy smile, but it tells the whole story.

Was at Homewood today. Fugging epic. Snowing all day, fresh powder all day. Nobody there, had the mountain to myself.

Probably going out again tomorrow. Can't wait.

I hope this keeps up...

Thanks for all the updates, folks. So far I'm on top of my class work so that I can get my shred on in a few days! Our last major mountain "puking" coincided with the start of the winter quarter, so I missed out BIG TIME! I vowed that I wasn't gonna let anything get in my way this time.
