was probably a bit drunk. Freaked out cause he didn't want a DUI and bolted. Lost it.

Just not smart to be running from the cops. Driving at speeds like that in res areas. Or doing it in the rain. The roads were very slick at that time. I was on them.

Beyond that we do have to remember that it is very likely one of our members and we should be aware that his friends/family may come across this. As well as we have to remember that stupid mistake or not....a human life...probably a very young life was lost last night.

So for that I extend my condolenses to his family and friends and say I'm sorry for your loss.
Godspeed.
RIP.

Self inflicted wounds get no sympathy from me.

Sure, I'll sympathize with the loved ones he left behind, but not for the bonehead.

If he was running from the cops or just speeding its not a 'stupid mistake' He made the decision and paid the high price. Fortunately no one else was hurt or killed. I feel for his family and friends.

Early this week some kid in Palo Alto killed himself and critically injured his friend by crashing at 100 mph on Middlefield road. One of his family members was really pissed at him for being so stupid. He said he had warned the kid to slow down more than once.

These things aren't mistakes.
