I do my webhosting through globat.com

they have a special running right now, it's normally 7.95 a month, right now it's like 4.44 or something.
Some of their servers are slow, I've had about 5 server spaces with them before. Should you find you're on a slow one, just hit up their tech support and they'll migrate you to one of the better servers. All in all they've been pretty good to me!

my Canon 20D is still for sale and has a good 5 years before it is "obsolete"
$460! compared to the 40D which is almost $1000 more. and the 30D is pointless besides a bigger LCD and maybe faster image processing.

New Years

I have these and more on my zenfolio site. When you are the owner it gives you the direct links to the pictures in several different sizes, makes it super easy to link 'em to forum like I did in this post.

Yeh, I'm gonna write my own scripts that will take the uploaded pic, border it, add my sig, and resize it to a couple different sizes for me, even generate the code for message boards, direct links, etc.

Woah woah woah, If I understand this correctly, your telling me you'll be able to have all your images bordered with your sig on the picture to any picture you upload? That would be FTMFW considering how annoying it is to do that for every photo. Is this something you could program into your website (zenfolio or the other one you use) or is it totally different?

that's correct. Knowing how to program your own software makes the internet a little easier to bare. Only problem is you have to pay the money for your own server space since I haven't found any free website/hosting things that will allow you to upload scripts as well...
