I guess all those who abstained from sex and "alternative sexual behaviors" until marriage better get aboard their spaceship and head to their home planet ot Asexualia before you all go berserk and attack them, running at them with your pants at your akles. (Fortunately, running like that is difficult)

Religious fanatics of all faiths often bite their tails when posed with such questions...good one, very deep and very good one!
As for Karma, which is where my spirituality lies, Daredevil should not fear, he has posed a serious question about a human, not a god or unearthly being, but a sentient being just like everyone of us. Buddah said ( I paraphrase and cannot remember the source) to question all religions and believe only what you could prove to yourself.
We should question the exaltation of a man whose title makes him no better than any man who helps another living creature who is in despair. If that man makes you proud, don't make him a saint, make him live forever by doing what he did that was good in your deeds.
No heaven , no hell, just us here trying to get along.
Good one , Daredevil

on a lighter note, but still on topic, did anyone listen to howard stern yesterday morning when that lady called about how the pope was going to hell? she was totally adamant about it, and everyone was giving her crap for it. although some of the callers were like us, actually debating and thinking about it instead of just bashing her. i was like, is she on iclub or something.

Whether you want to believe it or not, your having a viewpoint is your own conditioned view on religion/way-of-life/etc.,etc. You just don't name it "religion". If you honestly believe that you have arrived at your own views in a private, mental vacuum you're delusional. Everything around you programs you in one way or another. Had you lived 500 years ago or 5000 miles away, or both, you would think very differently and be a different person in many, although perhaps not in all respects because you would have been programmed by the world around you. Even if your psychological filters by which you react to things are uniquely you (which I wouldn't agree with anyhow), you still are filtering that which comes out of the culture around you.
Also, you disagree with people to. Some of them even make the same silly confusion between "disagreement" and "bashing".

Well I suppose if the guy is going to be burried then the answer is yes he's going to hell.
Because from the Hebrew scriptures the word She'ohl translated today as hell simply meant the common grave. (In greek it's Hades) Men over the years have changed its meaning. Then the catholic church adopted it because they adopt lots of false teachings and doctrines and they teach it to be a fiery place of torment which it is not.
But it he's going to be cremated then no... he'll be in a jar or spread out somewhere.
