Another thing to consider is that the elite KC bullpen is pretty rested now. Going to be tough tomorrow and a really great game tomorrow if Madbum plays on short rest.

Didn't really give him a chance to succeed with a bases loaded, 1 out situation. There's a reason Bochy usually starts Petit with nobody on base. Put anyone else in there, and 1-2 runs would've still scored.

Aside from that, I don't think there's any way Bochy will start Bumgarner over Hudson in game 7. He's too stubborn for that. I don't like his style of starting games from behind and coming back to win. Hudson will probably give up at least 1 run. Now's not the time to mess around, especially with the Giants bats going hot to cold and vice versa.

 

If Bochy didn't put in Lincecum in a blowout loss yesterday, there's no way he's putting him in anything close to resembling a game today. Heck, he'd rather put Strickland (whose given up 6 HRs already) in over Lincecum.
