Start Yusmeiro Petit tomorrow, move Vogelsong to bullpen! Ya'll know Vogelsong's gonna give up at least 1-2 runs. Giants aren't hitting much at the moment, and we need all the help we can get from our starter. Petit has been lights out, giving up no earned runs this postseason. Give him a chance to start!

I wouldn't pitch Bumgarner tomorrow on short rest. Leave him for Sunday's game.

Not smart at all to start Vogelsong. Even worse is Bochy leaving him in the 3rd for so long before yanking him, just because the pitcher's spot is up next.

Bochy is extremely lucky the Giants bats came alive today, and Petit once again saving the day with his awesome pitching. At the moment, it looks like Petit's our second best pitcher. Start him in game 6 or 7. I don't trust Peavy/Hudson to put up 0's for 5+ innings. But knowing Bochy, he's gonna save him for when we're down early. Use your best pitchers from the start and we wouldn't have to come back from behind all the time.

This is right but then again if you put all your best pitchers into 1 game you won't have any the next game to hold it down. It'd be different if the bullpen was stacked, sadly it's not though. In the close parts of the game though put in the best. Strickland looked better this game actually hitting his spots.

Yea, if anyone was watching, it definitely looks like Petit is the man, I trust him over Peavy for sure, maybe tied with Huddy as the #2, but when his stuff is on he's light outs. Not sure why he didn't start over Peavy.

Madbum
Petit
Hudson/Peavy

Machi did make me sweat, dudes been hit hard recently, came up big or came up lucky...

Strickland continues to get pounded hard. He needs his other pitches working. That fastball no matter how fast it is (unless it's 100+) doesn't move. Clearly been shown that he needs a 2 seamer or something to get some movement, it's flat, players are crushing his fastballs.

Is he the future? Probably, but Lopez/Affelt/Romo/Casilla/Petit is the answers for tight game relief this year. Possibly even Lincecum.

KC has some crazy defense, that play made by Dyson saved a run, luckily the Giant's bested the pitching. Glad we got on Finnegan too.

I get kind of nervous seeing Strickland pitch.

Yeah, not using the starter relievers was a bad idea with KC. Your gain on their dumb move.
