BYOB for sure if you want to be anywhere near the stage. Also, you'll need to get there SUPER early if you want to be close to the stage. I think people were in Civic Center Plaza at 3 and 4 in the morning. I went to the last two and stood in different places each time. Find something tall to stand on (bus stop, lamp post, newspaper stand, etc.) and you'll be good to go. I can't go this year unfortunately

I wonder if Matt Cain, Marco Scutero, Dan Uggla, and the other September call up players who didn't make the postseason roster get rings. My guess is Cain gets one (because he's still on the team for next year), but not sure about the rest.

 

 

They'll all get rings. According to the KNBR folks, anyone who was on the team at all gets one, even it if was just one day.

Any point during the season. But if you were on the team for a certain amount of time then traded you'll still get a ring. It's what happened to bengie molina in 2010 even though he lost and was on the rangers.

 

And Travis Ishikawa of all people. When he got his 2010 ring he was in a Fresno Grizzlies jersey.

I think its kinda greedy IMO. Im sure he's already set for life, so why not continue with a team you've been a part of for years

 

Well when the report came out, Sandoval's agent denied it. So it could just be speculation, or one last ditch effort to coax the Giants to cough up more money. Some reports are the Giants' final offer of $100m, but not sure how many years, though Sandoval is looking for a 6 year deal.

 

Thats my take on it, ultimately it boils down to who he wants to win with(cant say much about his regular season/weight with 3 rings) but its sad after creating a dynasty with SF he'd want to move simply for more $..

I'm sure the rest of the giants wouldnt trade what they've accomplished for a better contract, I guess pablo doesnt feel the same (maybe cause benched his fatass for the first title..? ) at least it'd free up cap space! But I'd rather avoid it all in the first place
