The disadvantage Newey and teams that are not building their own engine package is the car needs to be designed around that. Mercedes and Ferrari can design their car and engine package as they need it to be. Also, I have a feeling Ferrari and Mercedes put in way more resources in 2013 for the 2014 car compared to RBR.

I don't think the 08 car was Newey's right?
Then again, they also didn't have Seb quality driving in 08 did they?

Based on what we know about 2014 it seems like the new rules will favor drivers that are good at management and we've seen that both Seb and Rai are exceptional at this. I feel like for somebody like Hamilton it'll continue to be a struggle since his instinct is ***** to the wall racing and will continue to suffer from tire degradation and fuel conservation.

I think Mercedes is going to be very strong. especially in terms of reliability with these new engines. Turbo has been in their blood for what 60+ years?
Brawn will always have his constructors title in his own name thus he is a legend (Lewis agrees)
