That dude is the biggest waste of raw talent since Russell.
The dude is HUGE and fast. Yet he's too scared to take people head on. He dances around like he's 5'8" and 165 pounds. He has terrible vision and no heart. It bums me out because he's such a talented dude and he's always been a real pro (until recently). Always seemed like a good dude.
The niners really didn't use him like they should have this year so I would have been pissed off too... like Tebow. But still...

Do you guys like terrell brown? I cant really decide if I like him or not..im leaning towards not...
Every time i pay attention to the guy's coverage he is always playing soft, and rarely uses a combination of looking at his man AND the QB. He always just stares one of them down. He has had several PI calls, some crucial ones, and No INT's. I barley see him make plays to knock ***** down either and MOST importantly, when we are playing D against a team and they are doing the two minute drill, He ALWAYS allows his man to get enough space on a hook route or a similar route, to get the first down. He plays soft coverage and doesn't anticipate or jump routes ever. I suspect he would have a pick-6 by now if he was more aggressive.
On a side note...after watching film over and over on Kaepernick. He still struggles with split second decisions. I notice he cant decide sometimes whether to take off running from the pocket or to throw a bullet, most of the time he holds back from passing it and takes off running late, and ends up getting run out of bounds at or before the line of scrimmage. I notice when he IS decisive and throws that bullet, or makes the decision without ANY hesitation, it pays off for us.
We need Justin back, we need to play GREAT coverage (DB's), we need Vernon Davis involved again, and Kaepernick needs to be decisive. This is the key to our superbowl run.

As for Davis, I just think Kaep likes Crab a lot more. He's the hot target most of the time, and coincidently last year Davis had a huge year. It wouldn't surprise me that all teams straight up doubled off or made sure that Davis wasn't the one that smoked them. I can't be sure since I don't watch film like the teams, but there HAS to be more guys out there on 1v1 coverage that can beat their man.
Crabtree has grown and shown he can not only beat his man, he can juke after the catch AND he BREAKS UP BAD passes or tipped ***** that would other wise get picked. I think Randy Moss does the same thing. I don't see any other receivers because Williams is hurt, Manningham is hurt, Ginn is saved for special teams, Jenkins can't even line up correctly and has dropped a pass or two.
Billy Cundiff signs with 49ers, could push David Akers - NFL.com
David Akers will practice for his job over the next two weeks.
Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reported that the San Francisco 49ers signed kicker Billy Cundiff after a Tuesday tryout, and the team later confirmed the move, saying it also waived linebacker Eric Bakhtiari.
According to CSN Bay Area, the 49ers will keep both Akers and Cundiff for the time being, and the veterans will compete in practice before deciding who will kick in the playoffs. The 49ers have a first-round bye in the NFC and won't play until Saturday, Jan. 12.
Cundiff, 32, was cut by the Washington Redskins after making just 7 of 12 field-goal attempts to start the season. He has kicked for five teams over a nine-year NFL career and is infamously known for his 32-yard field-goal miss that cost the Baltimore Ravens last year's AFC Championship Game.
Akers, 38, was a revelation in his first season with the 49ers, but the 2012 season has been a grind for the veteran. He has made just 29 of his 42 field-goal attempts, a 69 percent conversation rate that stands as the worst of his 15-year NFL career.
Knowing what Akers is capable of, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is giving the kicker every opportunity to stick around. Akers set an NFL record with 44 field goals in 2011 and tied the NFL all-time record for distance with a 63-yard field goal in Week 1 this season.
Now Cundiff will try to kick Akers out the door.

I literally wanted to throw up when I found out we signed Cundiff this morning. Replacing a guy whos playing terrible with another terrible guy and a known playoff choker. No thanks Jeff. 4th and 20 at the 30 yard line, go for it!
how will we know if he's straightened out though? a 4-4 game with 2 field goals from +50 yards? even if he did that im not so sure Id trust the guy again. Man he was good last year, just sucks he cant keep it going, fans are harsh in that way.
