I think ck7 would have the presence of mind to slide.

I have nothing against the Niners. My grandmother was die hard until the day she died, but, as the resident -- and I'm assuming 'only' -- Packers fan on i-Club Nor-Cal: GO PACK GO!

MIN defense was playing pretty good down the stretch and AD is.. well, AD! But GB stepped up, on both sides of the ball, after rolling over in Week 17. I will say I am more optomistic going into this game, now, than I was prior to the Wild Card game. If SF DEF shows up, it'll be a good game. If it comes down to a shootout, 12 > 7.

I cannot see this game being a 12-7 game at all. the first meeting was 30-22. im expecting something like 24-20. GB may be getting some players back, we we're getting our MOST important player back on the defensive side, Justin Smith. Not many people realize it, but justin is a big part of the reason aldon smith got 21.5 sacks or whatever he got. Justin creates opportunity for aldon, GB offensive line isn't so hot, I'd take our D line over their offensive line. So it really just comes down to if A rodg can get the ball out of his hand quickly. if they can do that and avoid the sacks or fumble opportunities, the pack could beat us.

Our DB's aren't exactly gonna lay down though

You do realize that when he was saying 12 > 7 he isn't talking about the score right?

He was saying

12 (i.e. Aaron Rodgers) > 7 (i.e. Colin Kaepernick)

Paging Dr. Obvious....Dr. Obvious...

Seriously though, I think that's pretty common knowledge at this point in the season.

Should be a great game!

Especially considering how much his sack production dropped off after Justin Smith got hurt.... like half a sack in 3 games or something like that. LOL!

I just don't see it this year. Sorry. I think they'll get creative and put pressure on CK7 and he'll make some mistakes. This defense will capitalize on those mistakes.

Green Bay is back to full strength for the first time since like week 3. Couple key guys got healthy on defense and offense. The WR core is healthy for the first time all year. And they have a deep back field.

The niners defense is legit no doubt... but this is literally the most potent offense in the league and their defense is back to full strength. When that is the case they're a tough out.

The niners can win if they can be productive in 2 places... yards per carry on offense (keep the ball out of GB hands) and cause a few turn overs on defense. They'll need 3 to win because I see GB getting at least 2.

If GB gets to CK7 early... beats him up and gets in his head... it's over.

But hell if I know. Niners could put together the perfect game and stomp them. Just don't see it.

I'm sticking with my prediction... I see woodson in the end zone and I see something like 27/20.

Yeah they'll get to Rodgers but the problem is that he has too many weapons... he'll find someone. That's part of why he is so damned good. So many receivers. It's like New England. Guys can catch all over the place. 1 or 2 RB's at a time. 1 or 2 TE's at a time. 2-4 WR at a time. All good.

That's why he's not sacked very often. That and a solid offensive line. It's a great formula.

The problem with the niners won't be if they can stop GB because I think they are one of the few teams that can at least limit them... its going to be... can they score.

Yeah, true. The result of game 1 this season is a direct result of that. If the niners score 30 they are a hard team to beat. Do you think it would be fair to conclude..if the niners score 28+ they will walk away with a W?

If they score that much then it's probably a shoot out. That's the last thing they need. I think they'd stand a better chance if they can keep the score down. Try to come out with like a 24/14 type score.

But generally speaking... you score 30 points you win most games... most.

I'd like the 49ers to put up 30pts or close to 30 every game. I think their defense is solid enough to stop most teams under 20, some elite teams around the 30pt marker.

That said, thinking back on the Golden Years, Steven Young could explode the team about 30 all the time, and that was before the dynamics of the game changed to the things the Pats were doing snapping 90+ offensive plays.

The way the Pats play is the future, more plays = more scores. Basically took a college model or even the K-Gun/Jim Kelly back in the Bills hay days and made it quicker, and more efficient. Amazing to see it happen with just a few words or numbers.

Rodgers is good, but you are wrong about the sacks. He is the most sacked this year.

NFL Football Player Stats & Stats Leaders - Sacked

I think it will be a good tough game but the Niners will win by an Akers FG. The Niners have better lines and an overall better defense.

On offense, this is the game that they brought Moss in for. He may not have a big game stat wise but he has to sell the deep routes and they need to at least attempt a couple to him. This will keep the safeties honest and they will need to cover Vernon with the LBs.

Would love to see a two QB system with Smith and CK7.
