hey i know a reason that stafford would be ruled out is cuz most folk have to drive.
however:
#1 we get little/to no cop harrasment up here
#2 maybe finally we can get some of these lazy northbay folk out to something. god knows i have tried
#3 stafford lake is a super nice spot. tons of room no parking dues, decent weather, decent drive.
either way i am down but i vote for stafford. i would work extra to get this thing off the ground too. we gotta get soemthign goin in the northbay you know.

and i think Stafford lake has a frisbee golf course
click on the numbers for info on each spot http://www.co.marin.ca.us/depts/pk/p...aspx?ParkId=11
spots 1 and 2 can do 300 people, but i don't see enough parking for that many on the map
google satellite map http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...=17&iwloc=addr

there is a paved parking for about 200 cars and ther eis a dirt parkign for about 300+
i wil post pics tomorrow.
the paved parking i a long stretch of parking 100 cars each side. plus dirt parking off from that
not that we woudl want to but there is also a dirt parking lot with space for lots more cars than that

I don't suppose you could physically go there and snap some shots of the exact areas where we'd be... The parking lots, the picnic area, and anything else we would be occupying. Get tons of angles so we can see exactly how the park would look if we were there looking at it... The pictures would be our eyes since its too far to go just to see it.
You don't have to, but I'm really interested in that location as it sounds very much like Mt Hamilton.
It's great that they have an extra dirt lot for overflow subies... I don't think anyone would mind parking in a dirt lot in their subies... If they do, they probably shouldn't have a subie.

Situated on the shore of Stafford Lake, three miles west of Novato, this 139 acre park offers lake fishing, a nature trail, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for groups of up to 500 people, a popular children's play structure, lawn areas, a softball field, volleyball, disc golf and horseshoe courts.

That's not that far from Novato at all! I don't think people would complain about the drive, the drive down or up in this case is one of the sickest parts
