Sure, but I didn't go out like a fool and destroy other peoples property. Or destroy my own neighborhood and the business that support my neighborhood.

I can't say I disagree, but I also won't condemn them because I don't know how I'd react if I were in their shoes. I think it's safe to assume that a lot of this has to do with race-related issues.

 

I think a lot of racism is imaginary racism. I have no idea how a rational person could turn this into a racial issue.

Those cops showed up because this kid couldn't control himself in public, not because of the color of his skin.

Every time ive gone into Oakland, Ive never had a problem. Maybe it because of skin color, or attitude, or whatever, but everytime I'm there, its pretty civil

In my opinion, racism is a lot more prevalent than most white males are willing to admit.

Is that why they showed up? I didn't see the reason in any of the previous news reports...

Even if that's case--and I agree with you that they didn't show up because of skin color--I think the idea is that the same amount of force would not have been used on someone who was white.
