Just think.. if retailers are this backed up (or so they say).. once all this dies down, there should be a nice surplus of stuff out there and prices should be even cheaper than they were before right?

That's not really what happened last time...it took it a while before things really settled down. Guns went back to "normal" prices, but not ammo.

Until whatever actions the government takes actually start to come about, I don't think this one will die down as quickly as previous. If it does settle down a bit, as soon as the proposals come out, the panic it will pick up steam once again.

Brett, I also picked up a Black Rain lower from the Gun Exchange in SJ. Paid $240 for it, already built it up.

Well if people buy private and pay way too much, that is on them. It will blow over, but if legislation does occur on assault weapons then things might get crazy. I don't really see a full ban happening though.

Damn, $1 a round?

I could make about 10k of AR ammo alone. Jeeeebus!

Few weeks ago at the gun show at the cow palace some guy was trying to sell a well used Saiga 12 with 2 drum magazines for $3,000!! Also on his table was used hydroponic equipment so perhaps he was BEYOND high. Wasn't even a nice Siaga...

Thinking back, I regret not punching him in the face.

The ONLY people talking about a ban are the people who want one. There will NOT be a gun ban, and even the retarded media agrees with that.
