They really are cracking down now.
Every Sunday theres meets at Quicklys at Milpitas Square, and usually cops roll through to see if anyone does anything stupid, and sometimes people do and get caught. But tonight, they were out full force, pulling over modded cars left and right. They were just pouring in, then making circles back to catch other cars.
Looks like car meets will all die out now.

i remember going there one sunday and cops told us that we needed a receipt or we'd get a ticket for loitering.

Damn..I just read this whole thread (All 12 pages) and its as simple as profiling. I just moved back to the Bay Area (San Jose) from San Diego and I thought cops there were bad...looks like the bay area and its police haven't changed a bit. I was followed for about 2 miles the other day on Capitol Expressway here in San Jose. Got pulled over and lucky for me the cop got called to another scene and didn't get a chance to write the fix it ticket he was dying to give me (he was an *** and tried talking to me like he was my father...I'm F'n 29 not a child).
there's a reason LOITERING laws exist...
but this is as simple as like back in the beginning days of UCKK where i'd get a donut or 2...

this is what my car looks like
05 wrx platinum silver metallic, wingless with a Greddy evo2 exhaust. lowered. I have two stickers; and i-club sticker on my right rear window, and "I heart my suby" on the rear. tinted rear windows. fronts have no tint.
