Some QBs are tough, but for the most part you're right.

 

All of the ****head soccer fans keep raving about the world cup it eventually compelled me to watch it. So it's all your fault I suffered through those dumb games, and now you're telling me not to watch it?

 

Dude, all you have to do is just change the channel. What's the appeal of coming into a thread where everyone is talking about the world cup (obviously full of soccer fans) and dissing the sport and being negative about something that a lot of us enjoy? I understand if you don't like soccer, but coming into this thread and complaining about horrible soccer is and how the world cup is boring as hell, and how other sports are much better, etc.

That's all your opinion, a lot of us can say the same about the sports you love, but why waste the energy on being negative and making people angry? (You're not making me angry because I don't care what others think about the things I love, just pointing it out because others seem to be getting upset)

This is a thread about the world cup, about the matches, about the in-game drama, all the things we love about soccer, so lets keep it positive and get back to discussing games!

Back to the topic:

Italy deserved to lose just as others have said. They played horribly and showed **** poor teamwork. They could have at least tied if their striker (Think it was De Rossi) wasn't too busy arguing with the ref allowing Slovakia's Vittek (his Vtec kicked in) to be left unguarded and scoring a goal as a result... I believe it was the 3rd goal by Slovakia which was the game winning goal and if Slovakia hadn't of scored, like if Vittek would have been guarded like he should have been by De Rossi, then Italia would still be in the game and would have advanced. I'd hate to be De Rossi (I'm pretty sure it was him, someone correct me if I'm wrong) right now! I bet his country is pissed as hell at him for being a drama queen diving specialist. Like arguing with the ref ever changes anything anyway, so what's the point of arguing?

His little temper tantrum cost his team the potential to advance to the knockout stages. I'm happy that it happened because Ive never been a fan of Italy (soccer or otherwise, lol), but I'd be pissed if I was an Italian fan.

I just chimed in to mention that there's already a world cup thread and that soccer in general was lame. In came the soccer defenders.
